Developing leaders toward sustainability in a faithful innovation ecosystem

The Western Church is Shrinking

Twenty years ago, 69% of U.S. adults were members of a church. Today it’s 50%. Major denominations are closing churches and losing members faster than they can replace them. It doesn’t have to be this way.

We can Join You in Leading Faithful Innovation

Gather faithful innovators

Instead of placing a professional Christian in a building on a plot of land in a burgeoning new suburb, Cyclical is joining faithful innovators to discern and participate in the activity of the Holy Spirit.

Cyclical’s Three-Stage Process

Our team identifies and supports faithful innovators at various stages of their journey: discerners, starters and leaders of existing faithful innovations (churches).

This collective of leaders forms an ecumenical community, united by a common culture and set of practices. Together, we engage in the historical art of faithful innovation, thoughtfully navigating the challenges and opportunities that arise worldwide, while focusing on understanding and adapting to specific local contexts.

Discerners

The cycle begins with discernment. Specifically, it begins with discerning a call to faithful innovation.

Starters

The second stage of our cycle is dedicated to the starters, the practitioners, the ones who did the work of discernment and are beginning to launch their faithful innovation.

Churches

As we join you in discerning the next generation of faithful innovators, discerners become starters, and starters create faithful innovations (churches). These faithful innovations, as time passes and as God blesses, move into seasons of sustainability and generativity.
